Delete Your Account

How to permanently remove your Stackmate account and data

This action is permanent and cannot be undone

Deleting your account will immediately remove your profile, matches, and messages. This cannot be reversed.

How to delete your account in the app

Open the app and go to your Profile

Tap the Profile tab in the bottom navigation bar.

Open Settings

Tap the settings icon in the top-right corner of your profile screen.

Tap "Delete Account"

Scroll to the bottom of the Settings screen and tap Delete Account. You will be asked to confirm before anything is deleted.

Confirm deletion

After confirmation your account and all associated data are permanently deleted. You will be signed out immediately.

Data retention on account deletion

Profile & bio Deleted Your name, photo, bio, skills, and all profile information.

Matches & connections Deleted All pending and accepted connection requests.

Messages Deleted All chat history is permanently removed. The other party will no longer be able to access the conversation.

Reviews Anonymised Published reviews are anonymised and retained to protect the integrity of the reputation system. Your name is removed.

Authentication data Deleted Your email address and login credentials are removed from our authentication system within 30 days.

Request deletion by email

If you no longer have access to the app, email us from the address associated with your account. We will delete it manually within 7 business days.
